Joseph Hallinan

Joseph Hallinan is an award-winning journalist and author. He has written extensively on the criminal justice system in America. He won a Pulitzer Prize in journalism and was named a Nieman fellow at Harvard. He has written "Going Up the River: Travels in a Prison Nation".
