Andy Wilson is a British film, TV and theatre director.
Early career
Wilson began his career as a performer with
Circus Lumiere . Was one of the directors (withCindy Oswin ,Brian Lipson andPeter Godfrey ) of the experimental theatre groupRational Theatre and also a performer with Archaos, the celebrated anarchist French circus troupe.Wilson studied drama at
Birmingham University from 1976 to 1979 and then worked as an actor for three years before joining the London based Rational Theatre and subsequently establishing theHidden Grin Theatre . Wilson began his transition to film and television by directing numerous music videos, notably for techno duo Underworld. Andy also directed the 1997 film "Playing God" withDavid Duchovny andAngelina Jolie .
