Wirali

The Wirali are a tribe who inhabit Pai Khel, Mianwali District. Over a 150 years ago there was a wali named Mian Muhammad Wirali. He was popular in the area and distributed his land to poor people. Today his mazar is in Pai Khel, in the base of a mountain from where dolomite is brought for steel mills. His descendants are known as WIRALI. Most of the Wiralis are settled in the Dera Wiralian Wala area of Pai Khel.In Pai khel city,there is a mosque named as MASJID WIRALIAN WALI. The Mosque was constructed 50 years ago.Some Wirali are settled in Muhammadi Town Mianwali and Balokhel Mianwali. There was a man named Din Muhammad, who had seven sons. One of them was a poliece officer and all others were farmers. Now only one of them is alive.
