Annual Cushing Niles Dolbeare Media Awards

In 2007 the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC)created the, Annual Cushing Niles Dolbeare Media Awards, named in honor of the late Cushing Dolbeare, long-time housing advocate and founder of the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

The media awards honor print journalists who do an exemplary job of illuminating the affordable housing crisis in the United States.

The awards are presented by NLIHC and are funded by a grant from, Affordable Housing Finance magazine.
