Radiotrece is an internet radio based in Los Angeles, California. Broadcasting a smooth jazz format for the Hispanic market including Spain. According to its founder, Charlie Trece, this station begun broadcasting in 2006 following the format of pioneering smooth jazz radio The Wave also a Los Angeles station. Audiorealm.com, home for more than 1800 web stations ranks this radio on its site. Radiotrece displays on its main page an array of the most iconic artists of the genre and it’s well known for its extended blocks (over 45 minutes of uninterrupted music). The radio does not have “live” programs but broadcasts 24 hours a day. A pre-recorded “voice over” breaks music with self identification reminders or environmental messages in Spanish.
