"Mr. Rock and Roll" is a single by Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, released on July 16, 2007. It was her first full single after the limited online release of "Poison Prince", [cite web|url=http://jouwboris.multiply.com/journal/item/31|title=Amy MacDonald - This Is The Life (2007) - 320 kbs|date=2008-3-28|publisher=Boris Music Corner|language=English|accessdate=2008-06-04] and was released on CD and 7" vinyl. It charted at #1 in the Scottish Singles Charts and #12 in the United Kingdom. The song is the first track on Macdonald’s debut album This Is the Life, and is her most successful single so far.

Music Video

The music video consists of her playing a guitar in a white room. Pictures of her, a man and a woman walking in town is also to be seen.

Trivia

This song is also featured on the BBC Olympics 2008 programme, where it is played as it looks over the days events.
