Fitzjohn was one of many bus manufacturers in
United States andCanada . Most of the companies products emerged in the 1940s and 1950s, but it was underminded by larger players like General Motors.The company was founded October 8, 1919, the FitzJohn-Erwin Manufacturing Company by HA Fitzjohn in Muskegon, Michigan as a truck and bus body manufacturer. The company folded in 1958 and Canadian operations ended in 1959.
