Carlos Hugo Maderna (4 August 1910 – 23 January 1976) was an Argentine chess master.
He was twice Argentine Champion; in 1940 he won a match for the title against
Luis Piazzini (8 : 6), then lost a match toCarlos Guimard (1 : 8) in 1941, and won the title after play-off withJacobo Bolbochán andHeinrich Reinhardt in 1950/51.
