Sara Campbell is a British freediver. She is the former world record holder in Free Immersion (FIM) (diving to a depth of 81m),[1] Constant Weight (CWT) (96m) and Constant without fins (56m). Sara Campbell is Freediving Face of The Underwater Channel.
On April 2nd 2009 Sara Campbell set a new women's freediving world record in the Bahamas[2] by diving to 96m in Constant Weight.
After having made the decision to make a home for herself in Dahab in 2004, Sara Campbell pursued her dream of setting up a yoga holiday business. She had previously been working in public relations in London and combining this with part-time aerobics instructing. However she was looking for a fresh start in sunnier climates and Dahab fitted the bill. Campbell stumbled upon freediving when a couple of freedivers came to a yoga class and noticed she was very good at breath-holding.
