César Rodríguez Garavito is a Colombian sociologist and legal scholar whose work focuses on the transformation of law and politics in the context of globalization. He is part of an emerging group of human rights scholars and practitioners studying globalization and law “from below.” He teaches at the University of The Andes (Colombia) and is a Fellow of the Institute for Legal Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (United States). He is also a founding member of the Latin American Center for Law, Justice, and Society (Dejusticia).
