- Allessandro Besozzi
Allessandro Besozzi (22 July 1702-1775) was an Italian
composer andvirtuoso oboist .He lived at the court ofCharles Emmanuel III of Sardinia inTurin and played concerts in various European cities with his brothers Antonio and Girolamo. He wrote manyconcerto s, but only one of them was published in his lifetime. Besozzi is also the author of about a hundred of chamber works, composed for various groups of instruments. He had many students that became successful musicians themselves, likeJohann Christian Fischer andGeorg Druschetzky .Works
