Cage of Death V: Suspended was the fifth annual Cage of Death event produced by Combat Zone Wrestling. It took place on December 13, 2003. The main feud going into the Cage of Death was between Team Zandig John Zandig, Nick Gage, Ian Knoxx, Wifebeater, & LOBO and the HI-V The Messiah, Adam Flash, Nate Hatred, Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmire, & B-Boy. Although Team Zandig's sixth member was New Jack, he turned on team Zandig and joined the HI-V. The Cage match was also different than the year before it's cage of death. There were two rings, one of them with the cage, the other filled with one million thumbtacks. Above the two rings were a cage scaffold walkway in which the wrestlers had to walk on. The rules were that the match would start out with two members of each team, every 90 seconds a wrestler from either team would enter the match due to their number they drew before the match started. Elimination occurs when both feet hit the cement. A wrestler from each team can score a point for their team by going back to the starting point of the match.
