Hawaii Democratic caucuses, 2008

The 2008 Hawaii Democratic caucuses took place on February 19, 2008. 20 pledged delegates are at stake.

Rules

The Hawaii Democratic caucus consists of a presidential preference poll taken in the first half hour of the caucus. The results are then tabulated and precinct officers and delegates to the state convention are then elected. Those delegates are bound by the results of the caucus, and there is no realignment between non-viable groups as in some other caucuses. Actual delegates to the national conventions are to be selected at the State Convention, held May 25, 2008.
