Portugal national ice hockey team

The Portugal national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Portugal. It has been a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation since May 13, 1999. Portugal is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Ranking and is not actively competing in any IIHF World Championship events.

The Portugal national ice hockey team made their first appearance in 2000. Pedro Regado, was the first ever player to score for Portugal national ice hockey team against Canada, at the 8:04 mark of the first period. Portugal's National team played only one official game which ended in a 18-6 loss against Canada. Portugal's team was made of Portuguese Canadians mainly from Toronto.
