Our Redeemer's Christian School [http://www.orcsknights.org/] is a protestant, evangelical Christian school located in Minot, North Dakota, with classes from Pre-school through Grade 12. Our Redeemer's is located at 700 16th Avenue SE in Minot, and shares a building with Our Redeemer's Lutheren Brethren Church [http://www.ourredeemers.org/] .

Mission Statement

The school's mission statement is:

"The mission of Our Redeemer's Christian School is to serve God by providing a quality Christian education for the churches and families of the Minot area. The result of this quality education will be demonstrated as our students successfully move to their next educational step with excellent academic preparation and a Christ-centered view of the world."

chool Information

Our Redeemer's Christian School was founded as, and continues to be operated as a ministry of Our Redeemer's Church. However, the school is attended by students from approximately 30 local congregations. The school places a strong focus on a biblical-based curriculum, as well as on a teaching staff of active Christians.
The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) [http://www.acsi.org/] .

Athletics

The school's mascot is the Knights. They compete in a number of sports, including: boy's football (cooperatively with Berthold High School), girl's volleyball, boy's basketball, girl's basketball, and boy's golf. [1]

History

Our Redeemer's Christian School was established in 1982, and grew to its present class structure in 1995. A large gymnasium and additional classroom space were added in the year 2000.
