Samantha Falk

Samantha Falk is a Reporter for Global BC.

Falk was born and raised in Montreal. She went to Ryerson University in Toronto where she got her degree in journalism. After she got her degree she went on a year-long adventure through the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

When she came back she moved to Vancouver where she was hired by Global BC in 1993 as a writer. She then went on to report for local and national newscasts and was nominated for a BC Association of Broadcasting Award and a Webster Award.

Some of Falk's most memorable moments of her career include covering the WTO riots in Seattle, the California recall election and the 20th anniversary of the Air India disaster in Ireland.

Personal life

In her spare time, Samantha loves running in Marathons, reading, traveling and relaxing in her cabin on Savary Island with her husband, her cat and her two chocolate labs.
