Massimo Scognamiglio

Massimo Scognamiglio, Italian web evangelist, was born in Rome on August 12, 1969.

Scognamiglio is one of the pioneers of the World Wide Web in Italy. He begun to work with BBSes in the late 1980s and in Internet in 1994.He works as a creative director for traditional and new media. As an artist he works with acrilic paintings and computer generated images. He lives and works in Rome. He made Exhibition in Italy, the most important was "La coscienza Luccicante" (year 1998) about artist's CD ROM (Palazzo delle Esposizione, Roma) and "Autopsia di un visionario" (year 2006 Centro per l'arte contemporanea LUIGI PECCI - prato). He wrote several articles about new media and he was invited in many conferences about the future of media. He wrote a book called: "WebWorkFloW - Website developing process" (year 2000)He's one of the first Italian author of "mobile phone movies" (he directed a puppet version of "fear and loathing las vegas " - year 2003, filmed with a nokia phone)
