Junthy Valenzuela (born June 5, 1979 in Bogo, Cebu) is a Filipino basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association, a former Red Bull Barako player and currently plays for the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He was automatically pulled by Red Bull directly from the Philippine Basketball League. He currently plays in the Philippines most popular team, Barangay Ginebra. Coach Jhong Uichico got him, maybe because he wants to have Ginebra a team leader that he thinks that will lead his team to championships. In his 8 years as a veteran in the league, and in his 1st year, he won a championship with Ginebra in reinforcment conference. With the leagues one of the best point-guards, Jajay Helterbrand and the league's superstar icon and considered as the Philippines Michael Jordan, Mark "The Spark" Caguioa. The 29 year old veteran, the hitman himself, will lead the Kings, with 2008 MVP' Tubid and Menk, in the opening of SMART pba PHILIPPINE CUP. Without Mark Caguioa and Jayjay Helterbrand because of some injuries that the 2 Kings will sit for 1-2 monhs.

He averaged 11.9 points in the 2007 Season making him the team's leading scorer. He also averaged 3.8 Rebounds and 3.3 Assists per game.
