Illinois Democratic primary, 2008

The 2008 Illinois Democratic primary took place on February 5, 2008, also known as Super Tuesday. Polls indicated that Illinois Senator Barack Obama was leading rival Senator Hillary Clinton by double digits in the days before the contest.
