History

WGMA was located at the Hollywood Federal building on Washington Street and 441 and their transdmitter was at 9881 Sheridan Street, before Sheridan Street existed. Singles-only staion WADY "The Lady", went on the air on 1980-03-01. On 1980-07-01, the station changed its call sign to the current WLQY.
