They are currently based in Muckross School in Ranelagh after being evicted on short notice from their previous space at the College of Education, Rathmines in September 2007. Much of its work consists of new writing and devised pieces, which it has toured to other Youth Theatre venues around Ireland. In addition, IYT hosts two youth theatre festivals each year, in December and May, inviting other Youth Theatres without local performance spaces to tour a piece to Dublin [ [http://nayd.ie/whats_on/show/12 NAYD :: What's On ] ] .
