KXLQ (1490 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve Indianola, Iowa. The station is owned by Birach Broadcasting Corporation. The station is currently silent. KXLQ has been off the air for most of the past two years, except for a short-lived Spanish-language format after the station's sale to Davidson. In their most recent FCC application for authority to remain off the air, Davidson claimed it was unable to enter into a permanent agreement with its most recent programming source and is looking for a replacement.cite news |work=Upper Midwest Broadcasting News |title=March 2007 |url=http://www.northpine.com/broadcast/archive/news0307.html |date=2007-03-22]
