Terry Allen (big band singer)

Terry Allen was a male vocalist in the Big Band era.

In 1938 he joined Red Norvo's band [ [http://www.parabrisas.com/d_norvor.php Red Norvo biography] on "Solid!" site] [http://www.parabrisas.com/d_allent.php Terry Allen biography] on "Solid!" site] , doing the vocals on a number of Norvo's recordings, especially "I Get Along Without You Very Well," a big Norvo hit in 1939cite book

In 1939 he joined Larry Clinton's band, moving to Claude Thornhill's in 1941, and to Will Bradley's in 1942.
