Tedi Papavrami, born May 13 1971 in Tirana is a violinist.

Biography

He began studying the violin at the age of four under the supervision of his father, Robert Papavrami, a well-known violinist in Albania. After appearances with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Tirana, he was invited to France in 1982 to study with Pierre Amoyal at the Conservatoire de Paris. In addition to his international career as violinist, Papavrami has appeared in a TV film, and has become the French translator of Ismail Kadaré's literary works since the death in 2002 of Jusuf Vrioni.
