Hellvik (Nesodden)

Hellvik is a village in the municipality of Nesodden, Norway. It is cituated on the eastern coast of Nesodden with a coastal view of Bunnefjorden. Hellvik lies north of Berger, east of Skoklefall and south of Ursvik. Seeing as Nesodden is a pinensuela, the estimated time on the road, if you're heading into Oslo sentrum is about 50 minutes.

Hellviktangen, a bit north of Hellvikstrand, is an old farm, turned into a café, now surrounded by green fields and beaches - the café and the area surrounding it has many times been nominated to be one of the "pearls" of eastern Norway. The village is connected by Hellvikskogveien, Hellvikveien and Hellvikstrand.

Geographically, Hellvik is quite steep, something that makes house and flat planning an architectonical challenge. Hellvik has up until now remained untouched by the hand of urbainization. For the latest 20 years however, Hellvik has been polluted with many quite horrific, so-called "modernistic" buildings, utterly destroying it's once rural, coastal environment. Most Hellvicians agree on this matter, and wishes to see the trend reversed.
