"Lodderia eumorpha cookiana" is a subspecies of minute sea snail or micromollusc, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand's Mernoo Bank and Chatham Rise.

Habitat

This snail is found at depths of between 130 and 365 m.

hell description

The shell is a relatively taller form of "Lodderia eumorpha eumorpha", with both the spiral keels and their interstitial axials stronger, the latter strongly crenulating the umbilical spiral. The peristome is more thickened, and the outer lip section is developed into angular peaks at the terminal points of the spiral keels.

The shell height is up to 1.1 mm, and the width is up to 1.2 mm.
