The Henry Madden Library is the main resource for recorded knowledge and information supporting the teaching, research, and service functions of the
California State University, Fresno . Because it is the onlyuniversity library of its size and depth in a 400-mile region, it is an important community and regional resource and a key part of California State University, Fresno's role as a regional university.The library is currently undergoing a $105 million renovation to be completed January 2009. The library will feature Native American elements in its architecture.
