Wensleydale (sheep)

of the U.K. as it has fewer than 1500 registered breeding females [http://www.rbst.org.uk/watch-list/main.php Rare Breeds Survival Trust watch list] accessed 21st May 2008] , it is predominantly used today as a ram breed to cross with other breeds to obtain market lambs.
