Kevin Baines (born July 13 1982) is a British retired professional wrestler who was best known by his ring name Kev Noir. He currently wrestles for 1 Pro Wrestling (1PW) as part of The IInsiders tag-team, with The Juggernaut. He also makes appearances in Northern Wrestling League and Garage Pro Wrestling (GPW).

Career

Noir made his wrestling debut at GPW's 'Only the Strong Survive' where he took part in an 8-man elimination tag match. Unfortunately he was pinned early on. He was then fired on the spot by Alan Alan Alan Tasker - the greatest manager of all time. Following this horrible defeat, Kev span into depression and found himself wrestling on what he see's as a Z-Rated company in 1PW.

At 1PW's Underground 2 and 3, Noir and Juggernaught made their presence felt stating that they were overlooked for too long and were in 1PW to bang people out! The IInsiders were given the opportunity on November 10th at Underground 4, as they came out victorious against the team of Aaron James and Blayze Bentley. The next time around however at 'A Very Merry Christmas show' they weren't so fortunate, as they were beaten by Jason Genesis and Aaron James.

In January 2008, the Dook of Noir took his Pizower to the land of the Northern Wrestling League and teamed with Nathan Irwin in a losing effort against Casey Hanson and Bam Bam Barton.

Back Underground, Noir once again came out on the losing end of a 3-way tag-team match pitting The IInsiders, against Fight Club and the eventual winners Jason Genesis and Aaron James. After a hard fought match involving Gary Player, Keith Myatt (Head Trainer of the 1PW:A) came out and attacked his star student, and with the support of The IInsiders left the Granby a shamed British wrestling legend.

In February 2008, in a rematch from January, Kev Noir and Nathan Irwin teamed again in NWL and lost once more to Casey Hanson and Bam Bam Barton. Noir had the match won after hitting Hanson with his Jumping DDT finisher but Irwin wanted to impress his team-mate, tagging in and showboating. Irwin attempted to finish Hanson off with a Scissors Kick, but got rolled up for the 3 count.

At 1PW's the Saga Begins, Noir faced 1PW's youngest active wrestler, Robbie X.Noir ended up chasing Robbie and getting tired, resulting in Juggernaught interfering and getting Noir disqualified.This led to the Donny Bull coming to the aid of Robbie and thus starting a tag match.Robbie took a beating from both IInsiders early in the match as they played referee, Milky Bell, into keeping Bull on the apron in his own corner, eventually Robbie managed to get the tag with Bull cleaning house, However, Juggernaught was able to get Robbie on his own and nailed the Massive Attack to get the win for his team

On March 22nd at NWL, Noir accompanied Nathan Irwin for Irwin's match against Bam Bam Barton, in which Irwin lost, thus infuriating Noir and resulting in him ripping the 'Team Massive' shirt off Irwin and telling him that he has made his last mistake, he is sick of him losing matches and he is NOT massive.

Noir and his team mate, Juggernaught faced the team of Brett Valentine & Nick Elite, (who made it known that they are referred as High Impact) at 1PW's Afternoon Show of Fight Club Reloaded on April 19th 2008, where they were victorious thanks to the Inside Out.That same night, Noir & Juggernaught made another appearance at 1PW's Know Your Enemy, Running interference with Keith Myatt and fighting with Gary Player, Donny Bull & Aaron James, which set up a 6 man tag match at the next Underground show on May 3rd 2008, however, during the brawl, Donny Bull literally ran over Noir and legitimately broke his fibula, resulting in him being out of action for 6 weeks and will be replaced by Prince Ameen to compete in the 6 man tag match.
