The chain is known for its breakfast selection and even more known for its desserts such as pies and cheesecakes.

The chain is also famous in Japan for their waitress uniforms. Fact|date=November 2007. These consist of a white blouse; an orange or pink miniskirted jumper-style dress, with the waistline cut underneath the breasts; a matching apron; and a heart-shaped name tagFact|date=November 2007. There is a segment of Japanese male otaku who are particularly enthusiastic about the Anna Miller's waitresses as they find the uniforms cute. Because of the enthusiasm of this particular young male demographic it has been suggested that many patronize the restaurant for the waitresses, rather than the food.Fact|date=November 2007
