"Anatoma mantelli" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Scissurellidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to Fiordland in the South Island of New Zealand.

Habitat

This scissurellid is found at depths of about 105 m.

hell description

The shells are large for the genus, , with a rather tall spire. Sculpture consists of fine spiral threads, crossed by stronger radials, about 50 above the , but twice that number on the base. A distinctive feature is the broad columellar lip, that extends to the umbilicus.

The shell height is up to 2.6 mm, and width 3 mm.
