"Sinezona laqueus" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Scissurellidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand including the Antipodes and Chatham Islands, and The Snares.

hell description

The shell is larger than "Sinezona iota", of similar form, but with a depressed spire, wider, less sloping shoulder, a wider umbilicus, and about 15 more oblique radials on the base.

The shell height is up to 1.25 mm, and width 1.5 mm.
