Lap Thach

Lap Thach ( _vi. Lập Thạch) is a district ("huyện") of Vinh Phuc Province in the Red River Delta region of northern Vietnam. This district is located in the northwestern Vinh Phuc, at coordinates: 105°30′ to 105°45′ E and 21°10′ to 21°30′ N, bordering Tuyên Quang on the north, district of Tam Đảo and Tam Dương on the east, Vĩnh Tường on the south and province of Phú Thọ on the west. The district area is 323.02 km², population: 207,052 (2004 est.)

Lập Thạch is subdivided into 35 communes (xã) and 1 township (thị trấn). Lap Thach towship is the district seat.
