"Scissurella fairchildi" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Scissurellidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Bounty Islands.

Habitat

This scissurellid is found at depths of about 300 m.

hell description

The shell is minute, white, with whorls evenly rounded, the umbilicus wide, and the axials fewer and stronger than in "Scissurella bountyensis"; 14 on the body whorl.

The shell height is up to 0.65 mm, and width up to 1 mm.
