"Industrial" is the debut album by the band Pitch Shifter. It was released in 1991 on Peaceville Records.

Critics often use this album to compare Pitch Shifter's sound to that of Godflesh. Some have speculated that the face on the cover could be Justin Broadrick of Godflesh.

After 'Industrial' was released the band released a single Death Industrial with two new tracks that would later be released on Submit.

'Industrial' could be considered their heaviest, and most aggressive album to date.

Notes

*This is the only Pitch Shifter album in which Mark D. Clayden performs lead vocals. Beginning with their next release, Submit, Jon S. Clayden took his brother's place on vocals.
*In celebration of a "slip case" style reissue of the album, the song "Gravid Rage" was featured on the 2001 Peaceville Classic Cuts compilation.
*Dino Cazares of Fear Factory can be seen wearing a Pitch Shifter shirt with the Industrial cover art in the booklet of the Soul of a New Machine re-release.
