Gerebald [Gerbald, Gerbaud, Gerbold, Gereboldus.] was bishop of Châlon-sur-Saône [ [http://www.glaubenszeugen.de/tage/jun/12.htm] gives diocese correctly; there are many sources saying "Seine" for "Saône".] from 864 to 885. He is a Catholic [ [http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintg4g.htm saintg4g.htm ] ] and Orthodox [ [http://www.orthodoxengland.org.uk/saintsg.htm Latin Saints of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Rome ] ] saint, with feast day 12 June.
