MamaJuana Energy is an energy drink inspired by the legendary Caribbean cocktail. MamaJuana Energy is a 2-oz. non-alcoholic shot with a mixed berry flavor that can be enjoyed straight up or blended with rum, vodka or other spirits. It was created by John Layfield, better known as John "Bradshaw" Layfield or JBL.

Ingredients

MamaJuana Energy’s proprietary blend includes Maca, a herb traditionally used as an aphrodisiac and to increase sexual performance in men. The formula also contains natural sexual stimulants such as Hawthorn Berry, Muira Puama and Horny Goat Weed. The energy blend contains L-Phenylalanine, Glucuronolactone and Malic Acid, among other ingredients. None of these have any scientifically proven effect on human sexual performance.

History

Mamajuana is a 400-year-old Caribbean cocktail (and the trusted aid of world-renowned playboy Porfirio Rubirosa). Originally made by the Taino Indians, mamajuana is a closely guarded recipe of herbs, leaves, roots, bark and spices. Honey, wine or rum is generally added to the mixture and aged accordingly. The elixir is used for everything from common colds to arousing sexual desire to relieving arthritic pain.
