Swanbank is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. The predominant land usage in Swanbank is industrial. The origin of the suburb name is supposedly from a place in Scotland called Swanbank. Strangely enough there is no trace of there ever being a place in Scotland called Swanbank. The Swanbank power station is a power station located in Swanbank. Swanbank also has a railway station which is used for heritage purposes.
