Barrie Barbary

Barrie Barbary is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Adelaide and Woodville in the SANFL. He is a wingman in North Adelaide's official 'Team of the Century'.

Barbary started his 14 year SANFL career in 1957 with North Adelaide. In his debut season he impressed enough to earn interstate selection and would go on to represent South Australia 19 times. He was a Magarey Medalist in 1960, a premiership season for North Adelaide. Barbary played a total of 149 games for the club before leaving at the end of the 1964 season. He played with Woodville from 1967 to 1970 and coached them briefly in the early 1970s.
