The Tracy Hills AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in both San Joaquin County and Stanislaus County, California. The convert|39200|acre|ha|0 region was designated an AVA as a result of a petition from the owners of Tulip Hill Winery in Lake County, who owned a vineyard on Mount Oso in the Tracy Hills. The five original vineyards in the appellation are planted between convert|100|ft|m|0 and convert|500|ft|m|0 above sea level.
