The Electric Skateboard is a large
skateboard with a motor attached and a hand-held controller. It most commonly has a lead acid battery in it, though there are expensive models with more modern batteries, such as lithium-polymers and nickel-metal hydrides.History
The electronic skateboard was invented by Louis Finkle in
Long Beach, CA . Finkle perfected the electric skateboard over the course of five years, using his own money.
Finkle's design included a wireless hand remote that operated using the rider's own body as the antenna on a very low frequency. This design is supposed to reduceradio frequency interference .
