At University of the Fraser Valley all students are automatically members of the UCFV Student Union Society.

The Student Union Society (SUS) is comprised of six (6) Executive Member as well as a four specialty reps (Disabilities Rep, International Rep, Trades Rep, Aboriginal Rep), as well as 9 at large positions. The SUS elected board members all run in annual elections. These elections usually take place between March 1st & March 31. New council takes in effect on May 1 of each year.
