Lama Abu-Odeh ( _ar. لمى أبو عوده) is a
Palestinian-American professor and author, who teaches at theGeorgetown University Law Center . She has written extensively onIslamic law ,feminism , andfamily law .Abu-Odeh was born in
Amman ,Jordan in 1962. She earned herLL.B. from theUniversity of Jordan , herLL.M. from theUniversity of Bristol ,England , herMA dn from theUniversity of York ,England , and herS.J.D. fromHarvard University .She has taught at
Stanford Law School and worked for theWorld Bank 's Middle East/North Africa division. She currently teaches atGeorgetown University Law Center .Abu-Odeh has also written on the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict , and has voiced support for abi-national solution , or the creation of one state in Israel/Palestine.References
