John Howard Marsden

John Howard Marsden

John Howard Marsden (7 May, 1803 – 24 January, 1870) was an English antiquary, vicar, and first Disney Professor of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge.

Marsden was educated at Manchester Grammar School and St John's College, Cambridge, graduating in 1826.
