Panagiotis Sarris

Panagiotis Sarris (born 14 September 1975) is a retired Greek sprinter who specialized in the 200 metres.

He won the bronze medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games [ [http://www.gbrathletics.com/ic/mg.htm Mediterranean Games] - GBR Athletics] and finished eighth in 4 x 100 m relay at the 2006 IAAF World Cup. He also competed at the 2004 Olympic Games and the World Championships in 1999, 2003 and 2005, without reaching the final.

His personal best time was 20.48 seconds, achieved in July 2002 in Rethimno. This ranks him sixth among Greek 200 metres sprinters, behind Konstantinos Kenteris, Anastassios Gousis, Thomas Sbokos, Alexios Alexopoulos and Georgios Panagiotopoulos. This ranks him eighth among Greek 100 metres sprinters, behind Angelos Pavlakakis, Aristotelis Gavelas, Christoforos Choidis, Alexandros Yenovelis, Haralambos Papadias, Konstantinos Kenteris and Alexis Alexopoulos, and joint with Georgios Theodoridis.b]
