Yousef Khamis

Yousef Khamis

Yousef Khamis, one of the most famous players and captins at Al-Nasr Club in Saudi Arabia.

He played his first match against Al-Riyadh Club in 1977 where the youngster met the expectations of Al-Nasr coach at that time Ljubiša Broćić.

He became the first team's captin in 1980 after the injury of the captin Tawfiq Al-Megren. He remained as a captin until his retirement in 1990 where he has won with the club 3 Saudi Premier League titles and 3 King Cup titles.

His international career is not as bright as his domestic one. The highlight of it is winning the 1984 AFC Asian Cup in Singapore.

After his retirement, he joined Al-Nasr technical staff and lead the club as a head coach to the Saudi Premier League title in 1995.
