Description
The shell is larger and more solid than typical "Struthiolaria vermis" subspecies, the
body whorl is inflated, non-tuberculate, the suture is very deeply but narrowly channelled and the colour pattern is of broad ill-defined axial stripes on a creamy-white ground.The shell height is up to 54 mm, and width up to 36 mm
