Vanda Daminato

Vanda Daminato

Vanda Daminato (Mezzolombardo, May 24 1951) is an Italian painter living in Milano. She is regarded as one of the most valuable contemporary artists.

Life and Works

Daminato spent her youth in Brescia and Bolzano, then moved to Ferrara to attend University, starting there her deal with fine arts. She is Member of the Academy of Engraving Arts in Pisa.

Her works are splendid oil paintings, surprising collages, ceramics and fine graphics. As a creative, she took care of the image of Mayor Italian Companies for main international exhibitions.

In her works an insuperable technique is associated with new ideas and a deep respect of tradition. Her subjects are human messages just for what they are and want to represent, what might be and is not, or it might have been and has not been, the time in which we live and in which we have just lived.
