driver's license , Mikkelsen started competing in rallies in the United Kingdom. Driving aFord Focus WRC , he won the Quinton Stages, the Coracle, the Plains, the Bulldog and the Cambrian Rally, as well as the Saaremaa Rally inEstonia .
