Wiessmann graduated cum laude from
Lafayette College and received herlaw degree fromRutgers University . She and her husband live inBucks County, Pennsylvania , with their two children.Prior to her term as
Treasurer of Pennsylvania , Weissman served as a Vice-president atGoldman Sachs . She also served as Deputy Director of Finance for thePhiladelphia . From 1990 through 1999 Wiessman was a founding principal and president of Artemis Capital Group. She served as a director for Merrill Lynch, the International City Managers Retirement Corporation (ICMA), and Vantagepoint Funds.
